New Trash bins

The city of San Diego is beginning to deliver new gray trash bins (to replace the old black ones) to our neighborhood as of Thursday, October 23, 2025.

-Place all trash (old black bins) and organic waste containers (green bins) at the curb—even if they’re not full or if we are not making adjustments to that container type.

-Leave them out until crews complete delivery of your new container(s) and removal of your old ones.

-If your old containers are not removed on their schedule day, please let us know. Request pickup at sandiego.gov/GID.

-Once your new container(s) arrive, verify that the size and quantity are correct.
